Here is a gift I made for my sister who is a fan of the elder scrolls games just like me. I found this model online which apparently ripped from the game, it had some flaws in the model causing it to not be manifold, or a solid enclosed model. This makes it hard for the 3d printing slicer to do it's job so it needs to be fixed first. This was easily fixed in netfabb or mesh mixer just using the repair tool and then sliced in Chitubox for resin printing.

So pretty when they are still dripping in the goo. The print will now need to be washed, supports removed, and then fully cured. This transparent resin makes curing it all the way through easier than darker resins.

Once cured I masked and painted it. A coat of crystal clear enanel makes the transparent parts really glassy but I think next time I will do the "metal" joints with matte clear coat to look less shiny. Being solid resin it's actually pretty hefty to hold.
