3D Prints for Photography

Now this thread really could be in the 3d printing forum but I chose to put it here.

I am absolutely going to give these a try as soon as possible. Macro extension tubes for the Cannon EOS mount:

There is also this reverse lens adapter that uses the 18-55 and the telephoto kit lens together:

I have in the past printed a microscope adapter similar to this one with great results:

I recommend using a black plastic for the prints so you don't have light leakage. If you do you have light glowing through the plastic you can wrap it with opaque electrical tape to block it and it give it a nice squishy grip.

Oh man, these are awesome. I've been meaning to find/print a telescope > DSLR adaptor

Though I should probably get a sky tracker first... my poor wallet

How's your French? There is a 3d printable barn door tracker on thingiverse but I have seen others that do not need to be 3d printed like this one:

They are a long way from the one you linked, but the price difference seems substantial! I have always wanted one as well but it seems like the cheapest ones are still in the $500 range which is a bit much for how often we have clear nights in Humboldt!
