I 3d printed these cat bowl shields one afternoon and they have been real improvement to our household's quality of living. Two cats who are messy eaters are now able to keep their food in their bowl or at least off the floor. These are not dishwasher safe since they are just PLA but I hand wash them with hot water without any issues.
I eventually wrapped them with vinyl wood grain contact paper stuff, that seemed to make them a little warmer looking although still a bit strange.
