So this is cool. Seems like they were able to print lab-quality glass at super-high resolution, with layer lines small enough that the prints could be used for optics

This is so cool, I have been wondering when we were going to be getting laser sintered glass parts! I have never been interested in glasswork because it looks very "globby" but the potential with this technique has captured my interest!
