I was looking through my "temporary" folder and found this document. I'm not sure where I got it, but it's an entertaining read, especially for any Makers that want to build a Kinetic Sculpture!

That was a really cool read! I wasn't able to make it out to see the race in person this year but I'm looking forward to next years!
 
I just wanted to add an update to this, we have a local community member who has a kinetic sculpture frame and was eager to have some makers band together to help make one. They are an engineer by trade so it is a serious a offer with a real possibility of being made into a full kinetic sculpture.
