If you're looking for good quality metal, and you want it locally, that's probably one of your best bets. I've just used Arcata scrap & salvage in the past, but definitely not for anything like what you're talking about.
Also, I'm super curious what you're up to--is this for the frames of the molds, or are you actually engraving something?

Nah, I've been moving slow on this. I don't need the aluminum for a few more weeks at least. I have a MillRight Mega V 19"x19" coming soon™ for wood carving, plastics and light aluminum work for Eel River Coral.
I didn't get the chance to get in touch with Fortuna Iron, but I will be trying again this week. I am hoping to be milling out some 2 part molds for the injection mold machine for new small part ideas to use my recycled plastic with. I processed another 15-20kgs of waste materials into plastic granules recently so I am itching to start injecting it into new goods!
