What a time to be alive

That a pocket-sized computer,
when pointed at a plastic bust,
which was downloaded from the Internet,
after having been modeled from a character on a TV show,
can make that bust sing and move,
coordinated to a song recorded almost 40 years ago,
and then post a video of it to the Internet,
where I can view it immediately, an unknown distance away,
all (basically) for free
is very weird to me.

For those keeping track, that's a minimum of three IRL > online > IRL round trips that Bob Odenkirk had to take to get here

That this is one of the more novel-yet-mildly interesting things you can do with 3D printing is also wild to me.

It is very strange times indeed! It's pretty clear our advancements are wildly unpredictable. Everyone expected hover cars and jet packs, yet instead we are in a world where robots can do art, fake our faces and make statues sing and dance.
